used DCC Accucraft K-27 2-8-2 D&RGW Rd no. 453

Preliminary listing - more details to come. This is a nice example of an Accucraft Brass/Steel finescale 1:20.3 electric 2-8-2.  The loco has been upgraded to be DCC equipped. We tested in DC mode only, so the video does not show lights, smoke and speed-sensitive sound, which are all DCC features. This is a large and wide loco, requiring minimum 10ft diameter curves and up to 3.5" of clearance outside your rails on curves.
 
If you have DCC and like Narrow Gauge, this is for you! The Denver and Rio Grande Western K-27 'Mudhen' 2-8-2's have lovely outside-frame running gear, so the movement is like a Swiss watch. Enjoy the photos and video. Please note: by accident, the first and last frames of the video show a sister loco - you can tell the difference by the cinder-catcher on the smokestack, which does not come with this purchase. Sorry about that
 
Flaws noticed: light dust, with minor signs of use. Original boxes have moderate wear. Instructions are reprinted. We do not know the brand of DCC card installed.
