PLEASE READ: We made one prototype, then felt we had learned enough to offer these to the G scale world. THE DIFFERENCE between our prototype and your unit: YOUR UNIT WILL HAVE 4 PORTHOLES, AND YOUR UNIT WILL NOT HAVE KADEE COUPLERS.
On Amtrak's first day of operations, they had donated equipment from Class I passenger railroads from across the USA. Needing an EMD E-unit, they took a former Conrail E8/9 and gave it a quick paint job that ended up being the precursor livery for the subsequent Silver-Red-Blue scheme. Amtrak only did one "4316" but we will do up to three for 3 lucky G scalers.
