In celebration of its 50th anniversary, AMTRAK commissioned 4 special one-off liveries. We plan to make only 2 of the "PHASE VI"" versions. Starting with a mint LGB 20490 G Scale Amtrak Genesis Diesel Locomotive, we will repaint in PHASE VI  "Wave" livery as produced by Amtrak. Please NOTE: these will be color-matched to original LGB "Wave" Genesis locos, making a 3 loco consist possible.

This locomotive features: Weather-resistant construction. We also offer an optional LGB sound kit, including the power booster (allows for sound during idling). This locomotive also features… opening cab doors, 2 protected gearboxes with seven-pole bühler motors, 8 powered wheels, 2 traction tires, and 12 power pickups. Also featured is automatic directional lighting, headlights and instrument lighting, with low reliable low-current-draw LEDS. The unit measures: 28.3“ long.
